A JOB WELL DONE FOR TRIBUNG TRALA-LA...

Last Saturday,Barrio Fiesta was held at FAANT,a Filipino event(but not exclusively for pinoy only)w/c traditionally held every year.A night full of fun for everyone especially for our group 'THE
TRIBUNG TRALA-LA.It was named after kuya Ed's idea. Our group decided to join and have our stall for the Barrio Fiesta.Actually,we have this plan of having a stall several months before the event but finally decided when we only got 3weeks left. So,gahol talaga sa oras.During the meeting,we decided to contribute A$200 for each family,we are 14 in the group.Ate luz is the president becoz sya ang donya eh.

Si cheryl naman ang secretary, she's in-charge lagi sa mga paper works,(brainy kc)this girl is super
energetic that she managed to sewed and design our aprons all by herself.Gosh, where the hell she gets all that energy when she has a lot of stuff to do at home aside from her work and studies, kaya after the event, she never wants to do it again..ha ha ha,but convinced later to join provided that we should have at least 2months preparation(dapat naman talaga eh).Her hubby na si lando, ayun after ng maghapon na paypayan at bilad sa init sinumpong ng rayuma nya, niloloko pa ni allan, bigyan daw ng wheel chair.

In the group,i would say that kuya Ed is the real "chef".He likes to cook(obvious ba)He can turn simple dish into a yummy one..I swear! That's what he did with his atchara, kahit mga puti nagustuhan...Si Ate Eda naman, ang girl scout sa grupo, lagi yan handa pagdating sa mga bagay-bagay lalo na pag nagcacamping kami.Sold out ang yummylicous nyan butse en puto,di ako magsasawa kahit araw arawin ko ang pagkain ng butse nya, magtatae nga lang ako(excuse me po)
..
Kay Cat naman tayo, she's the muse, kahit san angle, danda danda talaga,he he,(sipsip)she's responsible naman sa mga gagamitin, serviettes, bain marie, plates etc.
Sa mga kinauukulan, shes single,if you want to get in touch with her,MAGDASAL NA KAYO!!!!!!ha ha ha...Her brother in-law tochie drew the poster, nilagyan na lang namin ni kuya Boy en Cheryl ng glitters.

Si Clarabelle naman, naku, dapat maganda ang intro ko dito kundi patay ako,so far, wala naman complainant hanggang natapos ang gabi, epektib shower mo day(peace...)next year shower ka ulit ha....Her hubby George joined the bbq boys with Allan,Lando,Kuya Ed en part timer na si Kuya boy.

The group will not be completed without the "PASAWAYS".Si Ate Mary, while cleaning the chicken, bumubulong pa bakit pa sya napasali raw, sana raw nagpunta na lang sya sa casino masisiyahan pa sya kesa naman magbuhat ng mga manok ha ha,thanx god hindi inatake, imagine 9 boxes ba naman un ginawa nila eh,she wanted to go home na sana but utos ng presidente stay back..Eh si Ate Lydia,Whew, pagod din sya kasi sya ang taga saing namin, ang layo pa naman ng outlet sa stall namin, ang liliit pa ng rice cooker namin, nakailan balik pa sya tuloy, bale next year, malaking rice cooker na gamit mo para isang saingan na lang 'te lydia, tapos ala pa syang mga pix ksi nga lagi syang wala sa stall, bale next year may official photographer ka na promise, sino kaya ma assign sau?Eto ang MATINDI,si Ate Susan, ang "taga" sa grupo,"taga mando" en "taga utos",,he he he,wag nyong pabasa sa kanya baka sakalin ako,but in fairness, may ginawa naman sya, taga bugaw ng langaw en thanx nga pala kasi she looked after xander while im skewing, pati si Xander, ninais pang matulog kesa pabantay sa kanya(you know what i mean guys he he)

The night before, asa FAANT na un ib
a to decorate the stall, kasi nga may prize daw ang magandang stall,of course di kami pahuhuli,we want to make sure that we will bring home the bacon, hala, natapos na ang gabi walang annoucement kung sino ang nanalo,(modesty aside)eh kami na un noh!!!We found out na lang from Ate Luz kasi she phoned Ms. Flora(FAANT Pres) na wala na daw yun kc they were busy checking each stall for health standard, but at least, she declared us as the winner over the phone."CONGRATS" GUYS,JOB WELL DONE!!!!!Kumita naman kami, but kung naplano sana namin na dapat hindi kami naagad sa rice at sa bbq eh di sana lahat ng customer nasilbihan namin though some of them, nag aantay talaga, nasarapan sa love potion na nilagay ni allan sa sauce nya.Sorry,he cant tell his secret, its sacred!!!ha ha ha...Thanx po kay N.T. Chief Minister PAUL HENDERSON,for visiting our stall en commented that upon tasting our bbq he said.... "this is the best satay that ive ever tasted so far".... "what's your secret?"nagbayad po sya,di uso dito ang free taste noh...After hearing good feedbacks,we decided to do it again next year,Pang holiday!!!

AMAZING ICEBERG...

Amazing striped icebergs

Icebergs in the Antarctic area sometimes have stripes, formed by
layers of snow that react to different conditions.

Blue stripes are often created when a crevice in the ice sheet
fills up with melt water and freezes so quickly that no bubbles form.

When an iceberg falls into the sea, a layer of salty seawater can
freeze to the underside. If this is rich in algae, it can form a
green stripe.

Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up
when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea.

... Is this amazing??

AntarcticaFrozen Wave Pixs - Nature is amazing!

The water froze the instant the wave broke through the
ice. That's what it is like in Antarctica where it is the
coldest weather in decades. Water freezes the instant
it comes in contact with the air. The temperature of the
water is already some degrees below freezing.

Just look at how the wave froze in mid-air!!!

Goodbye iPhone....hu hu hu

Upon recieving comments and surfing the net on iPhone problems and drawbacks....I've finally realized that it wasn't meant to be..

list of iPhone problems and drawbacks

iphone-1.pngYes, the feedback on the newly released iPhone has been overwhelmingly positive but for those of you who aren’t happy unless you’re unhappy, cheer up! Here’s a list of software, hardware, and Tupperware letdowns that prove the iPhone falls a wee bit short of perfect.

(And if you have anything else to add to the list, feel free… because doing my job for myself is so very inconvenient.)

1)The Barry Allen disappearance; there’s no Flash, or Java for that matter; making watching web videos more a miss than hit on iPhones.

2)Pixel envy – you’ll have it with your iPhone camera. The 2 megapixel camera is a little bland with 5 megapixel camera phones now available and the other kind of flash and zoom is also missing. There’s also no secondary camera for self portraits, so you can’t get narcissistic with your bad self.

3)You can ring my bell; but only 25 different ways. You can’t import more or use your MP3s as ringtones, meaning you’re at the mercy of Steve Jobs’ personal taste AND he still hasn’t secured the rights to Beatles songs. Be afraid, be very afraid.

4)He got game and it be chess. That’s the most graphics heavy game included with the iPhone; what was Pong too complicated?

5)There’s no third party applications allowed on the iPhone; with Steve Jobs suggesting that developers use the Safari web browser and AJAX to simulate them on the internet. Yes, he actually claimed that was just as good as allowing third party applications with a straight face.

6)I’m not saying AT&T’s ancient EDGE network is too slow for internet browsing, but there are unsubstantiated reports that the dinosaurs when extinct waiting for a page to load on it.

7)Something like one in ten of the initial iPhones bought was defective. While that number will obviously go down after the initial launch; that really sucks for the people who were waiting in line nine hours.

8)Gizmodo is reporting how many AT&T stores were trying to make you buy at least two or three accessories before they’d through in the iPhone; as AT&T representatives could get written up if they didn’t sell between $60-$65 of accessories per person. In contrast, Steve Jobs last Thursday just promised all Apple employees a free, no strings attached iPhone.

9)A lot of people have had trouble activating their iPhone on the AT&T Cingular network, which is done through iTunes. Apparently in the six month leading up to the launch it never occurred to AT&T that a bunch of people were going to be logging on at once and it might overload their system. In case you haven’t picked up on it yet, AT&T are idiots.

10)There’s no wireless synching with your Mac, no video recording or video output, or microSD memory card capabilities, though the iPhone does already come with 4-8GB of onboard memory.
